Agreeing to these terms
Cedar Hill Epoxy Flooring is a flooring contractor in Cedar Hill, TX. These terms cover your use of our website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them.
If something here doesn't sit right with you, please talk to us before you book. We'd rather sort it out up front than after the floor is down.
What we do
We prepare, coat, polish, stain, seal and resurface concrete floors for homes and businesses. That includes epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, garage floors, polished and stained concrete, overlays, pool decks and removal of old coatings. You can read more about our crew on our About page.
The service descriptions on this site are general. The work we do on your floor is the work written on your estimate or agreement. If the two ever differ, your written estimate controls.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and come from a visit to your property, because the slab's condition, moisture, cracks, old coatings and the size of the area all change the work and the price.
An estimate is based on what we can see and test at the time. If we find something once the job is open that we couldn't see before, such as hidden moisture, a coating that won't come up or damage under the surface, we'll stop, show you and agree on any change in writing before we do extra work that costs more.
Prices on an estimate are good for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update them if material costs have changed.
Scheduling, your part of the job and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Temperature and humidity affect how coatings cure, so we may move a date to protect your finish, and we'll tell you as early as we can.
On your side, we need the work area cleared, access to the space, and power and water where the estimate says so. Please keep people, pets and vehicles off the floor for the cure time we give you, because traffic too early is the most common way a new floor gets damaged.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel after we've ordered materials for your job or started work, you may owe for those materials and the work done up to that point.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written on your estimate or agreement. Unless that says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled and recover reasonable collection costs where Texas law allows.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We stand behind our work, and satisfaction is guaranteed on every job. If something isn't right, call us and we'll come out, look at it and make it right.
Any written warranty on your job is limited to what your estimate or agreement says. Warranties on coatings and other materials come from their makers, and we'll pass along whatever coverage they give.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from misuse, heavy impact, chemicals the finish isn't rated for, skipped care, normal wear, or moisture and slab movement that couldn't reasonably be found before the work. Coated and polished floors can be slick when wet or oily, so ask us about added texture if that matters for your space.
Apart from what's written in your agreement and this section, our website and services are provided as is, without other warranties, express or implied, to the extent Texas law allows.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Cedar Hill Epoxy Flooring isn't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost business or lost use of a space while a floor cures. Our total liability on any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
The information on this site is general and isn't a substitute for an on-site look at your floor. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that Texas law doesn't allow us to limit.
If we disagree
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call or write to us first, because most issues get settled with a visit and a conversation. If we can't agree that way, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before either of us goes to court.
If a dispute does go to court, it will be heard in the courts of the Texas county where the work was done.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies to your use of the site. For a job you've already booked, the terms in place when you accepted your estimate still apply.
